The tree...How sad for you that the tree has to go. The tree you gave me several years back is planted at our Kuna house. It is quite big now and provides some shade in the back yard. It will continue to grow, and I will continue to miss it. Getting on with your life is so hard! I am glad for now that Ii workk full time. I still have a little time to help others, work on my yard and do some sewing, but that means I am REALLY busy. I am really looking forward to going down to the viewing and funeral with you and being able to see so much family. It is so important to cherish the time we have with family now and to let them know how important they are to us. This life is too short. Love you lots, and see you soon.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13204327706058006786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2028732005379078475.post-47714392813603781502008-06-05T14:34:00.000-07:002008-06-05T14:34:00.000-07:00One of the trees in our backyard has died. Sorry your's has to come out. Enjoy your nice quiet time, I know you're not used to it, but you have worked hard and totally deserve it!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10969268214137270934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2028732005379078475.post-76970414924679114272008-06-05T13:03:00.000-07:002008-06-05T13:03:00.000-07:00I'm bummed the tree has to go! I keep looking at my calendar and realizing it's only coming one day at a time. Darn it. But now there are only like five weeks and then you can see my girls. And me. And probably indulge in a foot masssage...Melindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14334137960634732204noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2028732005379078475.post-35121032347254994652008-06-04T20:43:00.000-07:002008-06-04T20:43:00.000-07:00I think your gazebo with be so beautiful covered i...I think your gazebo with be so beautiful covered in ivy! What a wonderful little backyard retreat. I'm glad you're able to have some time to relax, even though it's a big adjustment for you. I'm sure you'll soon be able to find ways to fill your time and enjoy yourself. And you're right - as a young mother, I would love to have so much time to myself! But I guess I'll understand better when my kids are all growing up and leaving.Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12591387295768935118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2028732005379078475.post-45138962290428530472008-06-04T19:03:00.000-07:002008-06-04T19:03:00.000-07:00That's too bad about your tree. I can imagine it has to be hard to have no children home during the day, even in the summer. I'm glad that you are finally able to take some much needed time for yourself. In a couple of weeks you'll be busy with the fireworks stand, then going to California, and then reunions, so your summer might pass by quicker than you think. Plus, I'm hoping to come up soon and check out the reunion lodge & visit you!Kathy and Dave Whittlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08858023875186949077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2028732005379078475.post-83437790961101257482008-06-04T18:09:00.000-07:002008-06-04T18:09:00.000-07:00The backyard/gazebo look great. That'll be nice to have that area reclaimed...after the fireworks stand I guess. <BR/>We'll really have to start doing family reunions now that everyone is spreading out. I wish we were closer and could visit more often. But we are excited to see you guys next month and are glad you can come.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16212189188569023229noreply@blogger.com
