Here is the news from my endoscopy which I had Tuesday:
Stomach polyps are rare, occurring in less than 1 percent of people undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy — a procedure in which the lining of the stomach is examined. Stomach polyps usually don't cause symptoms. As a result, doctors often discover stomach polyps only while they're examining you for other reasons.
What are the odds that I would be in the "less than 1 percent of people"?
I don't know what kind or what size they were but there were several. Several also seems to be rare. They sent them to be biopsied. They will tell me more on Tuesday. I am not worried. It's probably just one of those fluke things and they could have been there for a long time and not bothered anything. The seriousness of polyps seems to be the number, size and kind.
The Colonoscopy showed nothing unusual, except they were unable to see two places and said to come back in three years to have those checked again.
We are in Denver and will be leaving today to go home. It has been a nice time.

What can I say, I have a rare sister.... or you're in rare form...or something like that. You should have figured out as soon as they say ..."only 1%" ... You are always the rare one!
I'm sure that's frustrating, but at least they know, right? And Mom's right...you are rare and special and wonderful. Keep positive and get home safe.
I'm glad things are looking to be okay, and that you've posted again, we were starting to get worried when you didn't post for a while. Mom and Melinda are right, you are very special, and don't you ever forget it. love you...
