Craig's list

I did it! I posted on Craigslist for the first time. I only posted free stuff, but I thought that was a good start. I listed a coffee table, a sofa table, a feather bed topper, and a LOT of wedding tulle. Next I might try something that costs.

I have been giving away all my wedding things. When Abby gets married I will hire someone and let them do it all. I am cleaning out and dejunking. I want to park in the garage again. I would love to get rid of about half the things I have. It seems to me that life is simpler when we have fewer things to weigh us down. Less to clean, less to store, less to worry about. If I had it my way I think I would move to a condominium where there is less room and someone else does the yard work and snow removal.

Mike has been gone to his Mom's. It's Father's day and he will be home tonight sometime. I am really glad because I'm tired of being alone. "It's not all it's cracked up to be."

While on the subject of getting rid of stuff, I don't remember if I replied to your offer of the ice cream maker or not. But if it's still available, Jeff and I would love to have it if you could bring it to the reunion!

Great job on de-junking and clearing things out. That's such a great feeling!

Yeah! for Craigs List! I have sold every single thing I listed on there, including our van. It's a great site. And cleaning out feels so good. As soon as I get my garage door opener working, I'll finally be parking in the garage again!

Yeah for de-junking! I love getting rid of stuff. it sounds like you are making great progress. I do like parking in the garage...this is the first ime in our lives we have had a garage to park in and I don't share space very nicely:)
