Matthew Steven Ferrell arrived May 14th. I am here visiting Sarah and her family.
Matthew and Emma are both very cute. Emma has grown so much! She is very smart and entertains herself very well. It is fun to watch her. She loves to read, sing, and play outside.
Karen, Kathy and I got together before I came to Calif. Karen picked me up at the airport where I left my van for Rachel and Brandon to use. We had a great dinner with Kathy's family, (for her birthday). I got to see Brandon and Rachel and their family, and Esther the next morning. After breakfast we planted flowers in front for "Michael's Garden". Allison Packard came to help and we enjoyed the time with her very much. She was great as the expert planter.
We visited Aunt Alice. She wasn't doing very well. She walked once around the nurses station and that about did her in. It seemed she was in a lot of pain whenever they moved her. Uncle Floyd, Allison, Floyd and Judy, and Ruth were there when we went. It was nice to see them.
The flight was uneventful and I am glad to be here. I am thankful for the time I can spend with Sarah's family. Their neighbor has a little guest cottage in the backyard which they are letting me stay in. It is very cute and cozy. The park is close and the weather is beautiful. Thank you Mike for your support.

What wonderful pictures! I'm so glad you were able to go down to visit them and see your grandkids :) I hope everything is going okay for you guys and (ditto to LaNita's comment) I am really looking forward to seeing you at the reunion in a couple of months!
That's so nice that you get to go visit Sarah. I know I really appreciated having extra help after the birth of a baby! Enjoy your grandkids! :)
